The hat stand has an umbrella-shaped top, a central cylindrical column, and a flat, round drum-shaped base. Decorated with both chased and painted enamel techniques, it features entwined flowers, lotus petals, circular Shou symbols, cloud motifs, and acanthus patterns.

Painted enamel was introduced to China from Europe in the late seventeenth to early eighteenth century and developed rapidly. Though unsigned, this piece – with its balanced form, refined design, and pure enamelling – reflects the fully matured craftsmanship of mid-Qing painted enamelware.
