With a flared mouth, straight neck, globular body, and circular foot, this vase features three lively boys modelled in high relief on one side of the body. Each child is rendered with vivid expression and distinct movement, their garments brightly coloured and finely detailed with crisp folds. The composition captures the boys’ playful joy with remarkable realism and vitality. The interior and base are covered with turquoise-green glaze. The base bears an underglaze blue six-character Da Qing Qianlong Nian Zhi (Made in the Qianlong reign of the Great Qing) mark in three columns.
